29. Lauryn Hill, 1992
Life in Oakdale: Illiterate tough girl Kira Johnson was tutored by Nancy and given shelter by Duncan. A talented warbler, she serenaded Duncan and Jessica at their wedding.
Life after Oakdale: Hill became a hip-hop superstar as one-third of the top-selling rap group The Fugees, then achieved solo fame with her multi-platinum CD, The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill, which earned five Grammys, including Album of the Year.

30. Frances Reid, 1958-62
Life in Oakdale: Grace was Jeff's well-meaning but distant socialite mother.
Life after Oakdale: Reid is a daytime legend, having played Alice Horton on Days of Our Lives since its 1965 debut.

31. Jason Biggs, 1994-95
Life in Oakdale: Rebellious teen Pete Wendell came to Oakdale to live with mother Julie and stepdad Caleb. Eventually, the whole clan moved to Seattle.
Life after Oakdale: Following his breakthrough role in the 1999 teen comedy American Pie, Biggs starred in Boys and Girls, Loser, and Saving Silverman. Next up? American Pie II.

32. William Fichtner, 1987-89
Life in Oakdale: Lily's long-lost biological father and Cal's son, Josh (also known as Rod), who had raped Iva at age 13, dated Betsy but married Meg. They now live in Waco, Texas.
Life after Oakdale: Character actor Fichtner has enlivened such films as Armageddon, Go, and The Perfect Storm. His next project is Pearl Harbor, opening this Memorial Day.

33. Kasi Lemmons, 1986-89
Life in Oakdale: Nella's brother, longtime Oakdale detective Roy Franklin, killed her druggie boyfriend Frank.
Life after Oakdale: Lemmons has acted in such films as The Silence of the Lambs and Candyman, and wrote and directed the celebrated feature Eve's Bayou. More recently, she directed Samuel L. Jackson in The Caveman's Valentine.

34. Victoria Rowell, 1988
Life in Oakdale: Rowell briefly held the role of Nella.
Life after Oakdale: Rowell received three Daytime Emmy nominations for her long-running role as Drucilla on The Young & the Restless. Since 1993, she has starred on the CBS series Diagnosis Murder.

35. Danny Pintauro, 1983-84
Life in Oakdale: Young Paul Ryan Stenbeck was a pawn in the bitter battle between his parents, James and Barbara.
Life after Oakdale: Pintauro spent seven years playing Jonathan Bower on Who's the Boss? and more recently starred in the off-Broadway play The Velocity of Gary (Not His Real Name).

36. Steven Weber, 1985-86
Life in Oakdale: Kevin Gibson, Frannie's boyfriend from Yale, took a bullet meant for her and died in her arms.
Life after Oakdale: Weber is best known for his long-runinng role on the sitcom Wings and now headlines his own primetime series, The Weber Show.

37. James Wlcek, 1990-92
Life in Oakdale: Linc was smitten with Lily and tried to help her get over Holden when he was committed to Angel.
Life after Oakdale: For several seasons, Wlcek was a regular on the popular CBS series Walker, Texas Ranger.

38. John Wesley Shipp, 1985-86
Life in Oakdale: Restaurateur Douglas Cummings opened Caroline's (later The Mona Lisa) but was harboring a secret obsession for Kim. After kidnapping Kim and her daughter Frannie, Doug was killed by his spurned lover Marsha Talbot.
Life after Oakdale: After his Emmy-winning ATWT stint, Shipp played the titular role in the sci-fi series The Flash. Since its 1998 debut, Shipp has provided wise counsel to the teens of Capeside as Mitch Leery on Dawson's Creek.

39. Tonya Pinkins, 1984-86
Life in Oakdale: Heather Dalton survived a vicious attack by Kim's murderous stalker, Doug Cummings. She almost married Roy, then moved to L.A. to pursue a singing career.
Life after Oakdale: Pinkins' portrayal of Sweet Anita in the acclaimed Broadway musical Jelly's Last Jam added a Tony and a Drama Desk Award to her trophy case. Daytime audiences also remember her as Livia Frye Cudahy on All My Children.

40. Richard Thomas, 1966-67
Life in Oakdale: Teenaged Tom marveled at the ceaseless dramatics of his mother, Lisa.
Life after Oakdale: Thomas won a place in the pop culture pantheon (and an Emmy Award) as John-Boy on The Waltons.

41. Michael Nader, 1976-78
Life in Oakdale: Alcoholic Kevin Thompson's fixation with Susan ruined his marriage to Sandy. He ultimately died in a drunk driving accident.
Life after Oakdale: Nader made a spalsh as Dex on the primetime soap Dynasty and was a fan favorite as Dimitri Marick on All My Children.

42. Peter Reckell, 1980-82
Life in Oakdale: Clean-cut Eric Hollister became involved in a drug scandal when he was accidentally slipped a large amount of PCP. He later fell in love with and married Haley.
Life after Oakdale: Reckell hit the daytime jackpot as Bo Brady on Days of Our Lives, a role he originated in 1983.

43. Martin Sheen, mid-1960s
Life in Oakdale: Jack Davis was a peripheral figure on the Oakdale scene.
Life after Oakdale: An Emmy nominee and Golden Globe winner for his work as U.S. President Jed Bartlet on The West Wing, Sheen has appeared in such acclaimed films as Apocalypse Now, Gandhi, and Wall Street.

44. Lisa Gay Hamilton, 1995
Life in Oakdale: Rachel served drinks at Yo's.
Life after Oakdale: Hamilton stars as Rebecca Washington on the acclaimed ABC drama The Practice.

45. James Noble, 1962
Life in Oakdale: After breaking up with fiancee Ellen, Don Hughes married his former love, Janice Whipple.
Life after Oakdale: Noble played Governor James Gatling on the long-running sitcom Benson.
