Review Assignment
A review (2-3 paragraphs) of a Website is due by midnight May 22 and 29 (Mondays)
and is worth 3 points. It must be posted to the Web Review forum on the
TCF389
bulletin board in order to receive credit. No printed reviews will be accepted.
Late reviews will be penalized one point.
You must include the address for the site and should evaluate:
- The usefulness of its content,
- The quality of its design, and
- Its level of hipness (is it too cool, or what?).
Questions you might ask yourself while evaluating a Website include, but
are not limited to:
- Does it communicate effectively?
- Does the design of the page seem to suit its function?
- Is it entertaining? Should it be?
- Is it easy to get around in it or is its navigation scheme cumbersome?
- Is the site dynamic and interactive (as opposed to linear or basic)? That
is, does it really use the capabilities of the Web?
- Is it overly dynamic and interactive with so many Web gadgets and
gizmos that it takes forever to access?
- How would you improve this site?
